Some outfits feel like a deep breath and an oversized white tee on a slow morning is definitely one of them. It's soft and easy and it asks nothing of you. It's also really easy to get wrong though because too much fabric swallows you and too little shape makes it look like you slept in it.

Give it a waist
A bit of definition through the middle changes everything. A cinch built into the side does it for you and stays put all day so you don't have to keep fixing it.
Keep the bottom half clean
When the top is relaxed it helps to keep everything else simple. Straight-leg jeans and tailored trousers are the easiest match and wide-leg pants look lovely too as long as the tee has a little shape at the waist.
Add just one thing
A brooch at the collar or a bit of gold jewelry is all you need. There's something so lovely about an outfit that knows when to stop.
Don't size up
This one surprises a lot of people. Oversized is about the cut and not about buying a bigger size so wear your usual size or go down one if you're in between. Sizing up is usually what makes it look sloppy.
